I bought a name for a couple of poor stray dogs wandering about with big tumours, and after deciding to help, I eventually caught one of them—a poor canine with a massive tumour that may weigh up to 6 kilogrammes.
After a long and exhausting chase through bushes and thorns, I finally caught her by giving her a tranquillizer to make her sleepy, though she terrifiedly tried to bite me and I had to run nearly 1000 metres into the bushes risking her tumbling into a chasm.
Despite the danger and struggle, I managed to catch her safely, and she is now on her way to the vet, where she was named Bunica and scheduled for urgent surgery.
Two days later, Bunica underwent surgery, which we hope went well as we now wait for the biopsy results.
A week after the operation, Bunica’s injuries were healing well, and she was in good health, expected to return to her home in about three weeks and already in a much better position.
Now settled in a safe dwelling and ready to recover fully after two months, Bunica looks beautiful, and I hope she will soon lead a happy, healthy life.
